Dr. Zakir has treated numerous patients with complex blockages in the legs utilizing a new technology called lightbox to restore flow to the feet allowing for resolution of pain when walking and healing of wounds.
Dr. Zakir was the first in New Jersey to become certified in New Jersey to perform coronary orbital atherectomy, a treatment to break up calcium in the coronary arteries to allow for stent placement in difficult to treat patients.
